Christina Haack wants to be DONE with estranged hubby Josh Hall!
And what better way to do it than to hire the so-called “disso queen” of Hollywood?! That’s right, y’all! When it comes to high-profile divorces involving celebrities and extremely high net worth individuals, nobody is better at fighting for her clients than Laura Wasser. And according to a new report, Haack just hired her!
Laura is so good at her gig that Kim Kardashian — who is also one of her former clients, BTW — is portraying her in a forthcoming TV show! (BTW, the jury is still out on whether Kimmy Kakes will become an actual, real-life lawyer like Laura in the future, but we wouldn’t hold our breath on that. Womp, womp.) Anywayssssss…

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly on Tuesday, the Christina On The Coast star has not been happy with the current legal team repping her amid the Hall divorce, Dearmey Law APC. So, she canned ’em, and she hired Wasser instead! The insider explained it like this:
“Christina was not happy with the progress or lack thereof. … She decided to go with the best divorce attorney out there to try and wrap this up quickly and fairly.”
So, Laura is up to bat! Back on Friday, Christina filed an official change of attorney notice with the Superior Court of California down in Orange County. And just like that, Haack has the most powerful divorce attorney in Hollywood on her side. Not a bad get!
Not a cheap get, either. Like we noted up top, Wasser was previously hired on by Kim K in her divorce from Kanye West. The attorney has also repped Angelina Jolie in her divorce from Billy Bob Thornton back in 2003 — and then again in her long, complicated split from Brad Pitt that began in 2016. Wasser’s other past A-list clients include the likes of Johnny Depp, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Reynolds, and Jennifer Garner.
Oh, and per a 2016 Bloomberg report, Wasser’s rate was a whopping $850 an hour — along with a $25,000 retainer! Those numbers are from nearly a decade ago now, too, so we have no doubt Haack is forking over big bucks on this. But the 41-year-old real estate reality TV star clearly wants to be DONE with her estranged husband Hall, so she’s bringing in the big guns!
