Circus Elephant Shot In Drive-By!!

This is just bonkers!!
In Tupelo, Mississippi the cops are looking for the gunman who opened fire on a Barnum & Bailey circus elephant!
That’s terrible!
Carol, the 39-year-old Asian elephant was shot while outside the Tupelo BancorpSouth Arena yesterday around 2am.
Thankfully, Carol wasn’t seriously injured, though she’s still going to go to Missouri for treatment.
She’s expected to make a full recovery.
The cops are moving forward with their investigation, planning to bring down federal charges on anyone involved.
It’s a federal offense because the elephant is protected under the Endangered Species Act!
PETA is offering a $5,000 reward for info leading to the conviction of those involved in this horrible crime.
Some people are just total sickos.
So glad Carol is okay, though.
