Clint Eastwood Ditches Donald Trump For Mike Bloomberg & Says We're Living In 'A P**sy Generation'

Clint Eastwood opens up about no longer backing Donald Trump, now supporting Mike Bloomberg

Longtime Republican Clint Eastwood is DONE with Donald Trump.

In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, Eastwood opened up about how he now believes former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg is actually the best person to become President in 2020 — and not Trump, who Eastwood had previously supported throughout the years.

This isn’t quite as strange as the infamous empty chair speech the actor-director gave at the 2012 Republican National Convention in support of Mitt Romney, of course, but Eastwood’s interview with the WSJ went off the rails pretty quickly all the same.

For one, he called out younger Americans for no clear reason, terming life now to be that of a “p**sy” generation, and more (below):

“We’re really in a p**sy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”

Uhhh… OK? Thanks for letting us know what you think, old man?

He’s changed his tune on Trump, too, and now hopes that the President would be more polite (and politically correct?!) instead of calling people names and tweeting weird messages.

Eastwood said (below):

“[I wish he would] act in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names. I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level.”

Well then! Certainly we’re glad somebody like longtime GOP supporter Eastwood can now (finally) recognize that Trump’s actions are classless, crass, and often times totally debased. But also… what took him so long?! Where have you been, dude???

And more than that, doesn’t calling today’s world a “p**sy generation” just make Clint seem like an old man yelling at young kids to get off his lawn (not to mention the less-than-classy qualities of that phrase itself?). Just saying!!!

What’s ironic about that, too, is this isn’t even the first time Clint has called out the “p**sy generation,” either! He did the exact same thing in an interview FOUR YEARS ago! It sounds like this is his go-to phrase or something! Oooookay, then, Clint! You do you, buddy…

What do U think about this interview and Eastwood’s opinions here, Perezcious readers?! Is it nice and welcome that he’s finally going against Trump?! Do you think there’s anything to this Bloomberg support??

You can read his full interview at the WSJ right HERE, if you’re interested. Sound OFF with all your opinions about the famous filmmaker’s whole interview and more in the comments (below)…
