When Courtney Love decided to rename her band, she also had to get some new bandmates!
So how does a famous rockstar find a bassist? The same way a garage band does, apparently- the Internet! Though it didn’t work out so well for Courtney. She says:
“I put an ad on Craigslist that said, ‘Band in the style of Hole looking for bassist in the style of Melissa Auf der Maur. I got exactly one response. There├óΓé¼Γäós just not a lot of chick bass players.”

You know what? We may see a problem with this new band name! LOLz!
Oh well! It’s better than when people could say they had just seen Courtney Love’s Hole!
So whatever happened to Melissa Auf der Maur? She started her own band- called Auf der Maur!
