Kurt Cobain’s widow is being evicted from her NYC apartment over redoing the wallpaper without the owner’s permission and setting the walls ablaze… among other things, like rent claims, etc…
And Donna Lyon isn’t playing around! Gurlfriend has set a court date, requiring Court to answer.
But Court’s already speaking out! According to her:
I haven’t fallen behind on the rent — I have been paying month to month as agreed. My rent is current, but the owner is now asking for the remaining two months upfront. Even thought it’s not required, I’d happily pay that and another six months’ rent if she would extend the lease for six months.
Court also says that while she did redo the walls, she asked for the owner’s permission and even used a painter approved by Donna!
Sources close are accusing Donna of just making this a “big to-do” to draw publicity in hopes of selling more pads!
Uhmm, we don’t really know who to believe here… do U??
