The search for country singer Craig Strickland continues.
As we previously reported, the Backyard Anthem crooner was declared missing after going on an Oklahoma hunting trip after Christmas.
While his dog was found alive, Craig’s hunting partner, Chase Morland, was found dead early that week.

With no sign of the 27-year-old, family and friends are still remaining hopeful.
On Sunday, the country star’s wife, Helen Strickland, even took to Instagram to share she’s keeping positive, posting:
Searching for Craig on a friend’s boat this morning. We located a cove that looked promising – Officers and one search & rescue K9 are currently searching the area. Hopefully positive news will follow this afternoon. #craigstrickland #prayersforcraig #powerofprayerA photo posted by Helen Wisner Strickland (@helenelizabethstrickland) on Jan 3, 2016 at 10:14am PST
She also took a moment to thank the search and rescue teams for their continued efforts:
Several of the 4 State Search and Rescue team members and one of their outstanding pups, Wrigley. Such wonderful, hardworking, godly people. Our family has been incredibly blessed by your presence and the dedication of your furry friends. We cannot thank you enough for the hard work and tiresome volunteer hours you poured into the search for #craigstrickland. Your acts of kindness and generosity gave our family continued hope. Thank you for creating this program strictly from the goodness of your hearts. I know it takes a ton of effort to train every single day. Your pups are amazing ❤️ Love in Christ, HelenA photo posted by Helen Wisner Strickland (@helenelizabethstrickland) on Jan 3, 2016 at 5:43pm PST
Helen also thanked friends for their support in helping to find her husband:
Sam and Ryan searching the surrounding land while Randy and Garthe drove through the frozen water in today’s 27 degree weather. Just the day before, the former Miss Arkansas sounded hopeful that her husband may have actually floated after their boat capsized due to his wader boots.
Though she did share in a new interview with 40/29 News:
“He’s in a better place. It’s more painful for us to think he could be underwater. Still we want that closure in seeing him.”
So heartbreaking.
Helen continued, opening up:
“Every time there’s a post from some random person who I have never met before that says, ├óΓé¼╦£Hey, I don’t know you, I’m reading this, I’m praying for you, my heart goes out to you,’ it’s almost like I don’t have to hurt on my own.”
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be Craig and Chase’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
