Simon Pegg was spotted on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens last year, so naturally everyone assumed he had a small role — especially since the movie is directed by his pal J.J. Abrams!

Though he seemed to confirm he appeared in the film, he stayed quite cagey about his role — but may have inadvertently revealed Daniel Craig‘s secret cameo in the process!
When someone asked if he was a Stormtrooper like star John Boyega, he said:
“I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig – he was a Stormtrooper!
…I shouldn’t have said that.”
Ha! What an amazing way for a big fan to step into film history! If it’s true…
Simon is both a writer AND a jokester, so it’s possible he’s just pulling our legs.
But we’ll be on the lookout for an especially hunky Stormtrooper anyway! LOLz!
