On September 15th, numerous pieces from Isabella Blow‘s wardrobe were going to be put up at auction, but thanks to Daphne Guinness that auction won’t be happening.
The fashion icon and collector has privately purchased the entire Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy filled collection that was headed to the auction block.
Daphne said of her purchase “It├óΓé¼Γäós Issy ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós her DNA ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it should not be scattered to the four winds. I want it to remain as a monument.”
Touching.
We’re sure she’ll give it a great home!
