So much for keeping things relatively private with your new bae, Demi Lovato!
The 27-year-old accidentally let the cat out of the bag over the weekend when she and her rumored new boyfriend Max Ehrich were seen together on social media for the first time — and it appears this quarantine romance is in full swing!

It all went down on Saturday while the Young and the Restless alum was playing the piano for followers on Instagram Live. At one point during the stream, Demi comes over to place a cozy blanket on Max’s shoulders and walks right into the camera frame where everyone could see her!
“I’m on live,” he mouthed as Lovato quickly scurried away with the blanket in hand. But of course, their attempt at discretion aside, that quick and cute moment didn’t get past anyone! Watch the singer’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in the clip (below):

Yeah, we all saw that! LOLz. Anyone else find Ehrich’s reaction totally amusing, though? The way he covered his mouth all surprised as if fans didn’t already have a clue about these two??
This isn’t the first time we’ve caught them engaging in a little digital PDA though as it was just last week a source spilled the tea about the pair’s new connection to E! News:
“Demi and Max have been seeing each other for a few weeks now. They have been quarantining together at Demi’s house and it’s going really well.”
Judging by what we just saw on IG, it does seem like things are going really well!
Apparently, these two have much more than music and acting in common as the insider continued:
“Max is very into music and health, and he doesn’t like to party. He is a good influence on Demi and they have a lot in common. They have a few mutual friends in common, but Demi has been introducing Max to her closest friends via FaceTime since being quarantined. It’s very new but they are definitely hanging out and seeing where it leads. They have spent a lot of time together but I wouldn’t say it’s an exclusive relationship yet.”
While they may not be fully “exclusive” yet, they are technically IG official after that live stream! We’re curious to see and hear more about these two and let’s hope this budding romance can go the distance once the coronavirus social distancing measures have been lifted.
