Demi Lovato Cast In Mysterious Guest Role For Final Season Of 'Will & Grace' Revival!

Demi Lovato to guest star on Will & Grace.

Demi Lovato is going back to her sitcom roots for the final season of Will & Grace!

The Sonny with a Chance alum confirmed she will be a guest star in the upcoming season of NBC’s comedy revival, where she’s expected to play a guarded gal named Jenny, who comes into the life of Will (Eric McCormack) in an unexpected way.

According to EW, the songstress will appear in three episodes in 2020, when the third season is set to air as part of the network’s midseason lineup.

The 27-year-old confirmed the news on Instagram Tuesday by sharing a shot (below) of her smiling on the set of Will’s apartment as she read the script for her episode. She captioned the pic:

Yass, Jenny!

Demi’s announcement came hours after she cryptically revealed she skipped out on Monday night’s MTV VMAs “for a reason,” which many took as a thinly-veiled shot at Taylor Swift over the Lover singer’s feud with Lovato’s manager, Scooter Braun. She has since denied it had any connection to Tay.

The Disney alum was up for Best Dance Video for her work with Clean Bandit in Solo at the VMAs, but she lost out to The Chainsmokers featuring Bebe Rexha for Call You Mine.

NBC previously announced the upcoming 18-episode season of the Will & Grace revival will be its last — which fueled the rumors of a reported on-set feud between leading stars Debra Messing and Megan Mullally.

As we reported, fans noticed the two actresses had quietly unfollowed one another on IG sometime earlier this month. Meanwhile, both their accounts are peppered with shade seemingly directed at one another.

In a now deleted IG Story, Megan shared the sentiment:

“One of the best feelings is finally losing your attachment to somebody who isn’t good for you!”

Debra, for her part, threw some more blatant shade a few months ago when she shared a “For Your Consideration” post supporting Will & Grace getting some Emmy nominations — and tagged everyone in the cast except Megan.

Again, it’s all ‘gramsay at this point. But if the two really are feuding, maybe Demi can play peacemaker during her guest stint on the show!

Are YOU excited to see the pop star make a guest appearance on the beloved sitcom?
