Demi Moore is staying strong for Bruce Willis.
Sadly, as you know, the Red star has been battling aphasia after being diagnosed with that in 2022, along with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) that was determined by doctors in 2023. His family and loved ones have banded together and stuck by his side through all this, though — including his ex Demi, who just gave an update about how the actor is doing.

The Substance actress spoke at the Hamptons International Film Festival, as reported by People, on Sunday. She described her ex husband’s condition as “stable” right now:
“You know, I’ve said this before. The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is. But for where he’s at, he is stable.”
It’s great to hear that he’s in a stable position and comfortable right now, although the entire ordeal is so heartbreaking…
Demi went on to reveal how she’s been coping with Bruce’s diagnosis. She also offered some advice to those who may be going through similar circumstances:
“What I always encourage is to just meet them where they’re at. When you’re holding on to what was, I think it’s a losing game. But when you show up to meet them where they’re at, there is great beauty and sweetness.”
So, so, so terribly sad — but so beautifully said, too.
The Ghost star revealed that she had been visiting Bruce just “two days ago” with her granddaughter Louetta, who is Rumer Willis‘ daughter. She said one of the most important things is “being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it.”
Our thoughts continue to be with Bruce and his family as they navigate this devastating part of their lives.
