Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are getting serious. They’ve been together for eight months, they live together, he’s even traveled to Hungary to meet her parents.
But she’s never met his twin brother Cole. (Though really how can she be sure? LOLz!)

In a dual interview with W Magazine, the couple opened up with tons of details about their relationship.
They first met at a party, after which Barbara followed Dylan on Instagram and he “slid into” her DMs. Dylan recalls:
“I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number.’ And she didn’t message me for six months.”
Ha! Talk about hard to get! Luckily, the story gets more romantic after that. Dylan continues:
“So I ended up booking a movie and going to China for a six-month shoot. My manager was with me and asked, ‘Dylan, is there anything you wish you had wrapped up before you left?’ And number one, I wish I was there for the opening of my brewery. And for the first time in six months, Barbara popped in my head, and I thought, I wish I had time to take this girl on a date. Ten minutes later, Barbara texts me for the first time in six months.”
The Victoria’s Secret model was glad she did as she says it all went smoothly from there:
“There’s a little language barrier for me, so I was never good with texting or flirting. With Dylan, everything seemed so easy. We had the same interests, and jokes were hitting at the right spot, and he didn’t think I was disgusting or anything.”
To which Dylan quips:
“Well, not so fast on that last part.”
Wocka wocka.
The truth is they bonded on a very deep level: their mutual love with anime, a nerdy obsession Barbara had not been comfortable enough to express with other guys:
“I was hiding it. Well, not hiding it, but I wouldn’t start off a conversation with that. In high school, I had a friend who would watch Naruto with me, but that faded away. When [Dylan] came into my life, I was like, I’m home, baby.”
And about those trips to meet Barbara’s family?
Dylan says it was tricky, thanks to the fact her parents mostly only speak Hungarian:
“I wasn’t nervous to meet her parents, but the truth is that there is a language barrier, obviously. Her mother speaks a very tiny bit [of English], and I am not proficient in Hungarian. I’m trying, but learning is definitely an overstatement.”
But it was when the subject of meeting the Sprouse family came up, that’s when Barbara surprised us with:
“I still haven’t met his brother.”
WHUT?? After eight months? They used to be so tight! Dylan quickly explains, shrugging:
“Cole works in Vancouver. He’s a very busy guy.”
He is of course referring to the schedule of shooting the hit show Riverdale.
Well, at least every other part of their relationship seems perfect and adorable!
