Elle was spotted on Tuesday filming her new movie Three Generations in New York City, and we barely recognized her!
The long, soft hair has been replaced with a short, unkempt nest, and the stylish outfits are now baggy duds.
Why?
Elle is stepping into the controversial role of Ray, a teen who was born a female but is transitioning to male.
Some are unhappy that a real transgender teen wasn’t cast in the part, but we’re still happy such a talented young star is bringing this role to light!
