Elle Fanning Channels A Sultry Vixen In Lace & Leather For Nylon

Elle is grown up for Nylon.
This has got to be Elle Fanning‘s most grown-up photo shoot to date!
The actress is the star of Nylon magazine’s November issue, looking quite sultry in a beaded lace tank and leather shorts over lace leggings.
With smokey eyes and red lips, the provocative look is complete!
The spread, however, features the 17-year-old in more teen-style clothing, including torn tights, rock tees, blue jeans, and chunky boots.
In the interview, the blonde beauty talks about beating up older sister Dakota Fanning:

“We’re four years apart, and when we were little we would fight all the time. I’m taller, so I would be the one beating her up.”

She also shares about the transgender teens she met while filming her new movie About Ray:

“They opened up to me in the most incredible way├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I’m just a stranger who’s doing a movie, but they told me their different journeys and even little details like what chest-binder brand is the best one, like, ├óΓé¼╦£They all suck, but this one’s all right.’ They were so helpful in that way.”

The young star further believes that the role should’ve been played by an actual transgender actor:

“They should be able to play my part, you know? It should be equal opportunity.”

Staying in character after filming also allowed her to identify more with transgender teens:

“Obviously, I wasn’t dressed like [a typical girl]. I would go to lunch, and I wouldn’t change, so I looked like Ray. The waiter would come over, like, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, are you done eating, sir?’ The actor in me was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Yeah!’ Then I thought, ├óΓé¼╦£Whoa, actually if that happened to Ray, he would be so excited that someone just saw him for himself.'”

As young as she is, Elle has always been drawn to dark, challenging roles:

“Even in animated Disney movies, there’s always something dark and scary, and that’s what’s most intriguing. In The Wizard of Oz, the witch was terrifying, but also fascinating. It’s the unknown, not the good girl. With roles, it’s the same way. You want to be an interesting character, a strong character…”
