Elle Fanning Debuts Short Brown Hair At The Boxtrolls Premiere! She's Nearly Unrecognizable!!

Just kidding — it’s Elle Fanning of course!!
But after years of seeing the 16-year-old with light blonde tresses, it was hard to recognize the newly brunette actress at The Boxtrolls premiere in Universal City on Sunday!
She was also slightly harder to recognize due to her style; instead of wearing her usual pale, pastel hues the actress rocked a dark navy and black Oscar de la Renta outfit.
Darker hair calls for a darker style, we suppose!
And while the brown hair definitely caught us off guard, we’re totally digging Elle’s new look!
