Harry Styles may be a romantic, but he did NOT send his former girlfriend Taylor Swift a TON of flowers!
The One Direction band member sat down with Ellen Degeneres on Thursday to clear up rumors that he gifted his ex 1,989 roses in honor of her latest album, 1989.

The sentimental gossip was first reported by Australia’s New Weekly, who claimed Styles had been “plaguing Taylor with texts, begging her for a rematch.”
Considering the exes just RECENTLY rekindled their friendship, we’re skeptical that Harry would already be “begging” for Tay back!
Styles admitted as much, saying:
“I don’t know anything about the roses. I think it might have been someone else and I may have falsely taken credit.”

We can’t imagine how crazy it must be to clear up wild stories like these on the daily… though, it would have been super sweet if Harry really did send Swifty all those roses!
