ICYMI: On Tuesday, it was revealed that Ellie Goulding was the mastermind behind Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris‘ relationship.

The duo have been inseparable since the BRIT Awards after-party earlier this year — and apparently it’s all thanks to the Love Me Like You Do singer.

The Burn performer shared with reporters at the Glamour Awards after-party:
“I did play matchmaker, that’s true. Calvin is a really great mate and he’s so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, ‘They’re both really awesome and both really tall, they’ll be brilliant together.'”
LOVES it!
It makes sense! The Blank Space singer is 6’0″ and the music producer is 6’5″ — talk about literally getting on each other’s levels! HA!
Their height might’ve initially inspired the match but we think the duo could turn into quite the powerhouse couple.
As for Ellie’s love life?
Ironically, there’ve been rumors that the blonde beauty was once romantically linked to both the Scottish DJ and TSwizzle’s BFF Ed Sheeran — but it seems they’re all mates now!
And it’s said that her relationship with McFly‘s Dougie Poynter could be headed towards the next level too.
At the same event, her beau gushed about the pop princess and hinted there may be a surprise for Ellie in the near future.
Hmm, very inneresting!
Regardless of everyone’s romantic status, we’re just hoping there’s a Harris/Swift/Goulding/Sheeran collaboration in our near future!!
