Fun! We like when celeb parents make movies they can bring their kids to go see!
A ton of a-list stars have signed on to voice characters in a new Weinstein and Rainmaker Entertainment animated picture, Escape From Planet Earth.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, James Gandolfini, Brendan Fraser, among others, will help tell the tale of a group of heros who try to save a trapped aliens on Earth.
Brendan will play hero Scorch Supernova, who, along with his brother Gary (Rob Corddry) must go to Earth to save trapped aliens. Sarah voices Kira, Gary’s wife, while Jessica will portray the no-nonsense Lena (alien?) and Mr. Soprano serves as the film’s bad guy, Shanker.
Oh yeah! He’s going to be good at that!
Sounds like a fun little project for these guys, especially Jessica. Keeps her busy while she’s preggo!
The film’s set for a 2012 release and is still in production.
