On May 29th, the family of Alexander McQueen scattered the designer’s ashes in the Kilmuir region of the Isle of Skye.
The family said in a statement:
“Lee cherished the times that he was able to spend on the Isle of Skye – he enjoyed the beauty, peace and tranquillity. It was Lee’s final request that his ashes should be buried at Kilmuir.”
McQueen’s family also expressed their gratitude to Isabella MacDonald of Kinloch Lodge Hotel for “making it possible for them to carry out Lee’s wishes.”
