Maybe they’ll have better luck than Sam Lufti did!
The legal mess between Britney Spears and Brad Sense, the licensing company that claims that the pop star breached her contract with them by refusing to pay them the 35% commission for her Elizabeth Arden fragrance range, just got worse!
Brad Sense wanted Miz Spears to sit down for a deposition, but her team has once again claimed that she is not able to mentally competant to do so under her conservatorship, to which the former is calling bullshit!
According to legal documents:
“Brand Sense intends to seek immediate relief from the probate court’s order. The notion that Britney Spears is mentally or emotionally unfit to testify under oath is a sham. Ms. Spears currently has the mental, emotional and physical capacity to endure the strain of a months-long international concert tour, make numerous public appearances, engage in interviews with the media, participate in numerous promotional campaigns for her various business enterprises, and maintain custody of her children.”
Eek! They argue a good point!
But we don’t want to see our Brit Brit have to go through the strain of this kind of thing!
A hearing has been set for July 11th that will determine if she will, in fact, be ordered to be deposed, so here’s hoping that they can reach some sort of agreement before that to fix this whole mess, and save everyone the head ache of a court battle!
