Awwwww

The First 'Fuller House' Season 5 Trailer Is Here -- And Lori Loughlin Is Nowhere To Be Seen...

The end is near for Fuller House — and it doesn’t look like Lori Loughlin is going to be a part of it.

On Friday afternoon, the trailer dropped for the first part of the final season of the hit Netflix reboot of the ever-popular old TV sitcom Full House. As you can see by watching the full two-minute video (above), the trailer is VERY family focused after Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) comes home with her newborn, the entire extended fam rushes in to help care for the kid, and hilarity ensues!

As you’ve come to expect from a show like Fuller House, the whole thing is cute, and sweet, and funny, and VERY family-friendly. But unfortunately for Loughlin, it appears the show has pretty much left her behind in light of her ongoing legal problems and imminent court dates. Sad!

Lots Of Cast Support For Lori

Regardless of her notable absence from the final season, it’s clear her cast mates are obviously thinking of her — and showing her a lot of support — even as her whole college admissions controversy has continued to hit hard over the last few months.

Andrea Barber, who plays the iconic Kimmy Gibler on the sitcom, told People NOW recently about filming the show’s last season:

“It was really sad, and we could feel her absence [while filming]. It just felt like there was a hole in the whole season but also in that final episode. She should’ve been there, and I’m sorry that she wasn’t.”

Wow! Very sad, indeed.

And as you’ll probably recall, Loughlin’s co-star and on-screen love interest John Stamos had a lot to say in an interview with GQ, clearly supporting Lori and adding some of his own thoughts about the alleged crimes themselves:

“I gotta be careful. I want to wait until the trial happens… and then talk about it. I’ll tell you one thing that has been strange is: Honestly, I can’t figure it out. It doesn’t make sense. I talked to her the morning everything hit. I just can’t process it still. Whatever happened, I’m pretty sure that the punishment is not equal to the crime, if there was a crime.”

Even original show lead Bob Saget has been keen to show his support for Lori, no matter what — like when he explained his support for Lori to Fox News in an end-of-October interview:

“I love the people I love, and people go through life, and stuff happens. For a while, I was saying, ‘No comment,’ and now there’s just no point in talking about it because I’ve answered it. What I would say is, I love the people I love, and I have empathy for people that are in my life for 35 years. I don’t cut people out.”

Awww… so obviously, it’s clear the love and support is there for Lori and her family — at least from the entire cast.

Still, she’s facing a seriously uphill legal battle, even with all the love from the Fuller House team. We’ll see how all that plays out, soon enough.

Thoughts, Perezcious readers?! Also, what did U think of the trailer itself? Pretty vintage Fuller House kind of stuff, isn’t it??
