Gareth Pugh Is Not The New McQueen Creative Director

Despite rumors, Gareth Pugh will NOT be taking over the creative director role at Alexander McQueen.

In a statement, the designer denied the reports saying “Further to speculative reports, Gareth Pugh is not in discussions with Gucci Group about a creative director role at Alexander McQueen.”

And there you have it.

We’re eager to see who thinks they’ve got big enough creative cojones to fill those empty shoes.
