Ginnifer Goodwin: ‘Sometimes I Tell Myself I’m Too Skinny’

Ginnifer Goodwin’s life has been one big anxiety attack about her weight.

She started dieting at age nine, and recently admitted that she sometimes feels she’s too skinny.

Said Ginnifer:

├óΓé¼┼ôEven at my crazy skinniest, where I’ve looked at myself and been like: ├óΓé¼╦£Ginny, you’re too skinny├óΓé¼Γäó, those are still there. And I think it might be…permanent?├óΓé¼┬¥

Ginnifer says that she’s always had problems with her thighs, and that she thinks it was figure skating as a child that gave her “muscular” legs:

├óΓé¼┼ôPart of it might be that when I was younger I was a figure skater, and a ballerina and a horseback rider. And there’s something about figure-skating jumps – your thighs get very muscular.├óΓé¼┬¥

She also says that she’s not always super skinny and can over-indulge at times:

├óΓé¼┼ôI can be indulgent for six months and put on some weight, but I still never actually get to the point of being unhappy and self-destructive….I├óΓé¼Γäóve never had a dramatic weight problem, it├óΓé¼Γäós just that I tend to indulge, and then I need to get back on track so I can button my pants.├óΓé¼┬¥

Everyone struggles with self-image issues, but you have to be able to accept your body for what it is and not let it control your life! Work towards your fitness goals, but don’t become overly obsessive about it!
