A baby, new romance, the end of an era, oh snap! The rest of the season is going to be a doozy!
With the return of Glee just around the corner, it’s safe to wonder what’s going to happen from here on out to the end of the fifth season!
Like, how Mr. Shue make that transition from Lima, Ohio to the Big Apple? Or why Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristen Chenoweth‘s characters are suddenly returning to McKinley high?
Luckily for us, there were a few Gleeks who were happy to spill some of the deets.
But tread lightly if you aren’t all caught up yet! Are you ready for a look into the future of the fifth season??
Apparently, Mr. Shue will be expecting an adorable bundle of joy in the future!
Matthew Morrison spills:
“Mr. Schue is going to have a family pretty soon, so I can’t see him leaving his family and then following his Broadway dreams unless he packs up the kid.”
His future baby will probably come out with a head full of hair! Cue the jokes from Sue Sylvester!
But before that baby graces the world, Mr. Shue will have to say goodbye to his senior Gleeks:
“It kind of made me feel like what a real teacher goes through, the revolving door of students just coming and going.”
Alex Newell, who plays Unique, an underclassman in the series also said:
“It’s like a chapter closing to see their characters go off and do bigger and better things.
Jacob Artist, who plays resident bad boy Jake, added:
“It is a really emotional and exciting episode. It’s fun. I think people will really enjoy it.”
More emotions?! We can’t deal with more crying!!
And as one chapter ends, another one begins! Possibly with some romance in the air?
Chord Overstreet teases a possible love story between Sam and someone from his past! He explains:
“Sam is going to be a male model or trying to be a male model. He has a rough go at it at first and deals with hardships. There are certain people that come back into the mix when I go to New York that I may be involved with romantically.”
But if male modeling doesn’t work out for Trouty Mouth, Chord is not afraid to go back to his stripping ways! YES PLEASE! He added:
“I just think that I would be back on the poles since I’m going to New York. I’ve been pitching that, but after Magic Mike, it kind of ruined it for all of us.”
With the senior Gleeks on the heel of leaving Lima behind, the fate of the Glee Club may turn ugly. Jane Lynch revealed:
“She’s now principal so she’s got the welfare of the entire school on her mind. It’s not so much she wants to destroy the glee club. She wants the school to thrive and she asks the glee club to reach a certain bar and they did not achieve it, so funds being what they are, she had to let them go.”
But before the Glee club disbands, Holly Holliday and April Rhodes are coming back to try to prevent that from happening! Matthew says:
“They came back because they’re trying to save the glee club. I got to have a song with both of them, so that was really a blast.”
But, Glee would not be our beloved dramedy without a long distance relationship in the mix! Wondering what’ll happen between Kitty and Artie before he makes the big move?
Becca Tobin who plays Kitty dishes:
“I’m a one man kind of woman these days. I think the show is very realistic and I’m sure we’ll face the normal complications of the long-distance relationship, but I love the relationship and watching it has been really sweet. Playing with him has been so fun, so I hope that they stick together.”
Now that Kitty has turned into a big softie, Jake takes back his bad boy persona and talks about his exit:
“I’m throwing music stands over, riding on my scooter, all that good stuff.”
So, that’s what we should expect on Glee!
