Harry Potter Is Recession Proof

Well, Harry Potter is certainly proving to be quite the monster hit!
The film earned $58.4 million in the U.S. box office on its first full day of domestic release.
That placed the film second for a Wednesday release after Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s debut of $62 million.
The Dark Knight is still the number one Wednesday opener of all time with $67.2 million.
