Heidi Klum's Cleavage-Baring Oscar Dress Was Supposed To Show More Skin?!

Is it even possible to show anymore skin?!?
Remember how shocked we were when Heidi Klum wore the (above) Julien Macdonald dress to Elton John‘s Oscar viewing party??
Well, according to the supermodel, the dress was actually toned down and stitched up a whole lot more than the original designs.
She says that just before the red carpet event, the gown was sewn “about 3, 4 inches” in the bosom area just before heading out.
She revealed more, saying:

“To be honest, the slit was, like, all the way down to my belly button. I actually closed it a lot! I was kind of worried that, if I would have left it like this, that, you know, an accident might have happened.
It was from here to here. I closed that up. But it needed it. I don’t know if the designer was happy about that, but it was a little bit too open.”

We don’t know how much more open the dress could have possibly been, but we wouldn’t mind seeing Heidi try the dress on again with its original design!
