That’s right, Hollywood: HARRYWOOD IS COMING!!!
We’ve been sharing with you for the past week some really exciting news about potential new Harry Potter attrations in Universal Studios Orlando and the creation of a whole new HP park at Universal Studios Hollywood. Well Potterheads, it’s all TRUE, as confirmed by Comcast├óΓé¼Γäós Universal Parks & Resorts this afternoon.
Universal Studios president Ron Meyer explained today that opening the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida was a “game-changer” for their theme park division and that the new installation in Orlando would create more than 1,000 jobs.
Now that’s job creation at it’s finest!
But here’s something a bit disturbing for the L.A. Potter venture. It may come to pass that in order to make room of Harry Potter’s playground, Universal├óΓé¼Γäós concert venue Gibson Amphitheatre would be axed! Ouch! Don’t think a lot of people are going to be too happy about that!
Sadly, no time frames or plan details were shared, but at least we all know now FOR SURE that this is all happening.
