Are you surprised? Why are you surprised? There is literally nothing this guy could do that would shock us anymore. He is a virtuoso, people, pure and simple. He has a love and gift with the arts and he’s going to express it in every medium humanly possible.
Over the weekend, James Franco will make his debut as a dance theater director for the upcoming multimedia show “Collage,” at NYU.
The show is described as a “mixed-media piece that uses sound and visuals to play with the idea of how different art mediums interact,” according to producer John Morrow. He adds:
“Using video, dance, poetry, theater and music, we have created a performance that will be an engaging experience for the audience.”
Hmm. Funny how he couldn’t muster up being this engaging at the Oscars this year. Bet that audience would’ve LOVED to have seen him dance, sing, hell read poetry.
