Has Dating Taylor Swift Destroyed Tom Hiddleston's Chances At Playing James Bond? Meet The NEW Odds On Favorite For 007...

Everyone wants to know who will replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond — and it looks like we have a NEW frontrunner!
Last we heard, Tom Hiddleston was still the favorite, but while he’s been off gallivanting with Taylor Swift, it seems that James Norton, from Rush and the TV mini-series War and Peace, has become the new frontrunner to be the next 007!

In the wake of Hiddleswift, UK bookmaker William Hill has updated their odds for the actors most likely to land the role of Bond and it seems that Norton is sitting at 1/3 odds with Poldark‘s Aidan Turner in second with at 7/4.

What’s perhaps most surprising about the changes is that Tom ended up dropping to third place from first as his current odds are 11/2. If Tay Tay is ONLY with the Brit to try and snag a Bond theme gig as some have suggested, she might want to start drawing up another plan — or just see if Norton is single. Ha!

Rupert Adams, a spokesperson for William Hill, commented on the recent changes saying:

“48 hrs ago James Norton was NOT even in the betting for who will become the next Bond, he has been backed from 66/1 and is now the current 1/3 favourite.”

Adams went on to add:

“We would be astonished if he is not on the shortlist. His good looks and public school background make him a perfect fit for Ian Fleming’s 007.”

Other names currently in the running include Idris Elba, Damian Lewis, Tom Hardy, Jamie Bell, Jon Hamm, Luke Evans, and Michael Fassbender.
Though Craig hasn’t OFFICIALLY exited from the Bond franchise, there has been PLENTY of evidence from comments to reportedly turning down TONS of money that helps to suggest the blonde hottie is done with the secret agent business.
