It’s about time!
Veteran actress and fitness expert Jane Fonda was FINALLY honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the Chinese Theatre on Saturday!
But this wasn’t just any old ceremony!
Instead of the typical hand print, the legend left a unique mark with a peace sign as she was joined by the likes of Jim Carrey, Eva Longoria, Maria Shriver, and Lily Tomlin to celebrate.
During the ceremony, Jane said:
“I swear I was beginning to think that the only way Hollywood was going to give me this opportunity was if the city laid a new sidewalk in front of my house. What is particularly meaningful to me is that I’m going to be right next to my dad right over there and I can feel his presence right now and he used to say to me, ├óΓé¼╦£Jane, don’t let this town walk all over you.’ Well dad, right now the town can walk all over both of us forever.”
LOLz! We’re sure he would’ve been proud!
And after more than 50 years in show biz and a stellar pedigree, we can say with absolute confidence that the recognition is well-deserved.
