JAY-Z and Beyoncé are circling the wagons less than 48 hours after one of the more unsettling (and, unfortunately, high profile) social media rants they’ve ever had to endure.
As we’ve been reporting over the last few days, late on Tuesday night, Kanye West took to his X (Twitter) account and delivered a deeply disturbing rant about the supposed mental capacity of the A-list couple’s 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.
Ye then abruptly deleted the unprovoked post — only to just as abruptly repost the content in the very early hours of Wednesday morning. At that point, the Hurricane rapper revealed that he didn’t delete the post in the first place to “be a good person,” but instead only “because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled.” Classy, Ye…

Anyways, now, we are learning more about what the New York rap icon and the Houston-born pop queen plan to do about Ye’s unhinged attack on their twins. On Thursday evening, an insider spoke to Page Six about the issue. According to that source, the couple “absolutely will not stand” for the way Ye “has spoken about their children in such a vulgar and offensive manner.”
No kidding…
Based on the insider’s next comment, tho, it sure sounds like all — and we do mean all — avenues are on the table in terms of how the longstanding couple might respond to the message. The source said:
“JAY-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter.”
We totally get it. This is about their family! Their innocent 7-year-old twins! It’s one thing to take shots at the stars themselves, but innocent children?! Too much!
The insider went on to add one more note about the couple, who first got hitched way back in April 2008. Per that source, the duo will NOT be speaking publicly about this situation at all:
“They have no plans on publicly addressing Kanye’s X posts about their children.”
That makes sense. Remember, Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian has been equally determined never to address his antics publicly and instead just try her best to avoid his unpredictable behavior. But then again, Kim is increasingly being forced into the fray — whether she likes it or not.

Of course, there is no telling whether something similar will happen here. But we can totally see how escalating tensions could change this current plan of silence for Beyoncé and her beau.
Regardless, this is an impossible situation for them to navigate. And even more so for those two innocent children who didn’t deserve ANY of this. Ugh.
