Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is at least starting to think about what effect her disturbing road rage incident may have had on her son, so… better late than never, we suppose?
As you’ll remember, the North Carolina mom courted controversy recently when MTV aired footage of her pulling a gun on another driver while her eight-year old son Jace was in the passenger seat.

Now, in a sneak-peek look at a new interview coming out soon with Dr. Drew, Evans gets real about how the incident affected her — and how it might be affecting her son.
She admits to Dr. Drew (below):
“Ever since then I’ve been having PTSD, I’ve been having nightmares. When the incident happened, I didn’t even leave my house for the first, like, two weeks.”
Whoa!!
Definitely scary — and if she felt it so much right afterwards, there’s no question it must have had an effect on Jace, as well.

Evans acknowledges she’s finally thinking about that, too (below):
“I didn’t think about it at the time. All I thought about was that he almost hurt my son. He almost knocked my son out. And that’s what pissed me off.”
No kidding…
Thankfully nobody was injured — or worse — during the incident, and it sounds like Jenelle may now be thinking about the bigger picture after such a traumatic experience. We can only hope.
