Seems like the drama with Channing Tatum hasn’t phased Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee‘s relationship one bit!
…or has it?
Steve penned a sweet note to Instagram on Tuesday in honor of his baby momma’s 39th birthday, along with a photo of the Step Up smiling with her bare baby bump showing. LOVES IT!

“This woman. What an indelible mark she has placed on my heart. The day of her birth has been a full one for us so far…dropping off the kiddo at school, baby doc appointment, nursery planning, moving into our new home, picking the kiddo up from school and so many other little life moments. Through it all I love catching eyes with her and knowing that she is the person I will be spending the rest of my life with. I couldn’t be more grateful that she was put on this earth and that we found each other through all the noise. I love you Jenna and I hope you have the happiest of birthdays!”
So sweet!!
But does hold on… What about “all the noise” the Tony Award winner referenced? Does that have to do with her famous ex?!
As you’ll likely recall, Tatum and Dewan announced news of their separation in April 2018 after nine years of marriage, but it wasn’t until this October inquiring minds learned more about what went really down behind the scenes of their split. With the release of her memoir, Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday, the dancer opened up:
“I’d come to realize the dynamic I was in wasn’t serving me nor was it serving my daughter. First and foremost I had to accept the realization this isn’t working and had moved into hurting.”
Furthermore, Miz Dewan detailed what it was like to learn her ex was in a new relationship with Jessie J while on a plane:
“I was learning things about my ex most people wouldn’t have to face — and over the internet, as it was happening. There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship. I was blindsided.”
We’re so glad Steve and Jenna seem to be making a very happy life together.
But are they really rising above the drama if they’re still referencing it??
