Here comes the drama bride!
While Jessica Simpson‘s wedding to her longtime man, Eric Johnson, was an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous affair, it was apparently also quite dramatic!
According to sources, Jessica’s recently divorced parents, Tina and Papa Joe Simpson, soured the lavish nuptials with tension and arguments:
“Tina made it clear to everyone, she was furious that Jessica chose her father to organize the three-day event, which included a Fourth of July party and a Sunday brunch. Jessica finally had it and told her mother that it was her wedding and to stop moaning.”
Oh, no! After a very long engagement and two pregnancies, you’d think Tina and Joe would put their differences aside for just one day!
Sadly, Jess’ attempts at mediating the awkward situation between her parents failed:
“Jessica had warned her parents that they had to get along and not embarrass her at the wedding.”
Ugh, the whole situation sounds really tough. We know Jess’ parents have been on BAD terms post their salacious divorce, but we’re sad to hear they couldn’t unite for their eldest daughter.
Hey, at least Jessica looked fab!
