Guess she didn’t figure an ex into this nerd prom equation!
Bonafide blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson was in the nation’s capitol for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, looking to have a nice time out with her fianc├â┬⌐ Eric Johnson.
Little did the 33-year-old singer know, her former Cowboys’ quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo would be in attendance with his wife of almost three years, Candice Crawford!
Jess and Tony, who started dating in 2007 and split in July 2009, didn’t talk during the evening, and totally avoided seeing each other for the night of political laughter!
An insider revealed that their clever seating prevented them from an awkward ex-encounter:
“[Romo] and his wife were seated on the right side of the ballroom and Jessica was in the middle of the ballroom during the actual dinner. No run-ins with Jessica happened.”
Whew…
Whoever was in charge of those table charts, BRAVO! That could’ve gotten a little weird!
Both duos are exceptionally attractive in their own right, so we couldn’t help but compare the two—since they were both dapper and dolled up for the evening!
