In honor of the beloved Joan Rivers, who tragically passed away a couple of weeks ago, E! has decided to dedicate September 19th to the late comedienne.
With that being said, the network cleared up its programming schedule to run a marathon of Fashion Police with Melissa Rivers joining the cast to honor her mother.
In this sneak peek of what’s to come, Melissa revealed to the Fashion Police cast how much your mother affected those she made fun of — in a good way!
For example, you wouldn’t expect President Barack Obama to pay attention to some of the crude jokes Joan made about him and his lady Mobama, but he did!
He even sent a letter to Melissa after Joan’s passing to express his empathy and how Joan made him feel.
It’s ridiculously sweet and it definitely makes you stop and think.
