Jodie Foster Pours Out An Essay Of Support For Kristen Stewart Amidst Cheating Scandal

Kristen Stewart has been the talk of the town world since a few sneaky cameras snapped scandalous photos of her cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, but not everyone is talking shiz.
Jodie Foster, who played KStew’s mom in Panic Room, has published an essay which gives the 22-year-old tabloid sensation unwavering support during this difficult time in her life.
Foster has been in the limelight since she was three and has “no memories of a childhood outside the public eye,” so if anybody understands “the gladiator sport of celebrity culture,” it’s her!
Although the veteran actress calls our obsession with celebrity “as old as the hills,” she points out that a new era of social media has made it harder for the famous to adapt to “life lived as a moving target.”
With all of the excess pressures that come with celebrity these days, Foster goes as far as to say:

“If I were a young actor today I would quit before I started. If I had to grow up in this media culture, I don├óΓé¼Γäót think I could survive it emotionally.”

The 49-year-old doesn’t actually defend or even comment on her former co-star’s actions that caused the backlash. She does, however, want us to “consider the childhoods we unknowingly destroy” as we “lift up beautiful young people like gods and then pull them down to earth to gaze at their seams.”
Wow. If ever there was someone you’d want in your corner, it would definitely be Jodi Foster!
