We never thought we’d see the day.
Many of our younger Perezcious readers may not be too familiar with this story, but the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan just had a new update 35 years later.
That’s because according to a Washington, D.C. judge, shooter John Hinckley, Jr. is once again suited for society and will be released from his mental hospital effective Wednesday.

Apparently, Jodie Foster‘s stalker has already been spending 17 days per month living in his mother’s Virginia home — so this won’t be too much a change for the community — but now the 61-year-old will officially be free 100 percent of the time.
John was originally found not guilty for the shooting that injured four people on March 30, 1981 by reason of insanity — hard to argue against seeing as he said he did it to “impress” the Taxi Driver starlet — but doctors now believe he has been cured of his mental illness.
Pretty shocking considering it was the POTUS he shot!
Do U think John deserves to live freely after what he did??
