So much for not giving up “any money for these ridiculous and false claims.”
Although his lawyer Marty Singer said John Travolta will never settle with any of the various men accusing him of sexual misconduct, sources say that is exactly what the actor is doing with one accuser.
In fact, someone close to the situation believes that Travolta has almost reached a deal with the man out of court, explaining:
“John Travolta’s lawyer is currently in settlement talks with one of the accusers. The goal is to have a settlement reached very quietly and quickly because John just wants this scandal to go away. No money has been paid yet, but it’s almost a done deal. It will be an out of court settlement and John Travolta’s name won’t even be in the agreement to ensure complete confidentiality, along with a clause that states if the man ever goes public with his story, he will be sued for at least twice the amount of the settlement.”
Well, it’s not that confidential anymore! LOLz!
If Travolta and Singer aren’t able to produce a figure large enough to properly pay for the alleged victim’s silence, the anonymous man is still ready to sue. The source continued:
“If the accuser who is in talks with John’s lawyer right now is unable to reach a settlement, he is absolutely prepared to file a lawsuit against him. The man isn’t intimidated by John’s celebrity status and just wants the actor to be held accountable for his actions.”
So Travolta may be close to getting one angry guy off of his back, but he’s still got six more who have come forward over the last few weeks.
We’d like to learn the truth about this sex scandal, so we kinda hope at least one of these guys takes a claim to court.
