Johnny Depp Injures Hand While In Australia Filming New Pirates Movie! Now He's Flying To The U.S. For Surgery!!

While down under, filming the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie on Australia’s Gold Coast, Johnny Depp injured his hand! Oh no!!
He wasn’t on set when the injury happened, so we can rule out cutlass incidents and canon malfunctions.
Whatever happened was bad enough that he’s now returning to the U.S. for surgery!
A Disney spokesperson said:

“The film won’t be delayed too much.”

We guess that’s corporate speak for: “Johnny is gonna pull through.”
He’s expected to be off set for about two weeks or so while he recovers from the surgery.

We’re so sad one of his perfect hands got hurt but so relieved it doesn’t sound more serious.
