Jon Gosselin Spills All, Claims 'Abusive' Kate Locked Away 11-Year-Old Collin -- And Only Saw Him Three Times In 3 Years

Jon Gosselin Kate Plus Eight Child Abuse Accusation

Back in 2009, Jon Gosselin agreed to a gag order as part of his divorce and custody settlement.

But now the former reality star, who now works as an IT director for a community health center in Pennsylvania, is ready to spill all about his ex, Kate Gosselin.

As he tells DailyMailTV:

“It’s time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn’t the person you think she is.”

He elaborates:

“There’s a lot of stuff I want to dispel — there’s a lot of untruths. I have watched my children suffer and I have not been able to say a word. Kate wanted the gag order because she didn’t want me speaking the truth. I know everything. I lived it with her and without her. So I know every single thing that has transpired and what has been portrayed to the American public, it’s not all true.”

With those words he throws down the gauntlet, opening up hostilities like we haven’t seen between the Jon And Kate Plus 8 exes in years.

He blasts his baby momma, who now stars on a TLC show called Kate Plus Date, in which she is shown as a single mom reentering the dating scene, saying:

“Kate is not doing the shows for her family, Kate is doing it for herself. She’s narcissistic and selfish. That’s it. Period. All of this is for her — Kate Plus Eight, Kate Plus Date, it’s her name first.”

That is true. Isn’t that just branding though?

He also points out:

“She always speaks for the children. They say this, they want to do this — unicorns, rainbows and look, flying pigs. It’s all lies. They all have voices.”

Jon says Kate has always raised the kids with what he calls a “pattern of abuse” which began with military-style “discipline” which included lots of chores and very little childlike fun.

He offers:

“I understand trying to teach discipline, but they can’t even be kids.”

In fact, he claims any fun family activities seen on their hit reality show were all faked for the cameras and would be stopped the moment producers got the footage they needed.

“We’d go to the beach to do a shoot and say, ‘There’s the water, run over there… okay, shoot over, let’s go.’ Like who does that? That was back in 2009 and that’s when I started getting in trouble from the crew and production team, I was like, ‘No, they’re not leaving the beach, you can leave.’ I was telling the film crews to go away.”

He says the children are “isolated” from others their own age and as a result “lack social skills”:

“I’m glad they have great grades and all this stuff. But in an uncomfortable social situation, like college or an environment that’s not suitable to white collar demographics, it’s going to be difficult for them and intermingling with other races and demographics and geography. It’s going to be difficult because they’ve been isolated so much and they haven’t been taught those life skills.”

Jon also says filming reality shows is NOT something the kids ever wanted or enjoyed:

“They have all said they have to film because they feel they need to provide a lifestyle for their mother. They don’t want to film. They said they have to film. That’s heart breaking. Why do my kids need to provide for themselves, they’re kids.

According to Jon, it’s only gotten worse since he left back in 2009.

Since he and Kate got divorced a decade ago, he claims he has received “50 to 60” letters from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services letting him know when they were investigating new reports of suspected child abuse.

50 to 60!

That cannot be all misunderstandings, y’all! Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and that is a billowing column of smoke. Jon says :

“I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story. And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.”

One such letter regarded his son Collin.

Jon says when the boy was just eleven years old, Kate sent him to a behavioral institute without notifying him. The father believes she sent him away solely because he was “difficult” and “stubborn.”

You know, like most 11-year-old boys. Jon says:

“Other than ADHD, which is extremely common, Collin has never been diagnosed with any known medical condition, there’s nothing wrong with him. But Kate sent him away, she couldn’t deal with him.

He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all locked up. It was inhumane.”

Jon claims Collin was “caged,” as he puts it, for over three years, during which his location was kept a secret. Supposedly Kate only visited three times, for a total of TWO HOURS, that entire time.

No wonder Jon scoffs when Kate says on her show she is raising eight kids by herself. He says:

“The reality is I know how to do math. There’s two going to college. There’s two that live with me full time and four live with her. So I don’t know where eight is coming from. It isn’t Jon And Kate Plus 8 anymore, it’s not even Kate Plus 8 anymore. Those things are long gone. This is a whole new world. Move past that stuff.”

As he stated, two of the Gosselin kids, Mady and Cara have gone off to college.

Daughter Hannah has lived with Jon since at least Summer of 2018, though whatever custody arrangement they have has been kept under wraps. In December Jon finally got custody of Collin, now 15.

The remaining four sextuplets, Aaden, Alexis, Leah, and Joel, still live with Kate. They don’t speak to their father at all.

Jon says:

“I think Kate has really poisoned my children’s minds against me. She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything.”

So how did Jon find out about Collin?

He says he asked a guidance counselor at the kids’ private school for an update, only to be told the boy was suddenly being “homeschooled.”

“I was like, this is weird, something was just really fishy. He just wasn’t there anymore. I couldn’t go to school and see him and he wasn’t coming for custody.”

According to Jon it wasn’t until a a couple months later, in March 2016, that he found out what was going on — when some sheriffs came knocking on his door.

“I was like, ‘What’s this about?’ The Sheriff goes, ‘Collin’s been sent away to a special needs place. We can’t tell you where. But the reason we’re here is because he claims his mother abused him.'”

How scary! No wonder he jumped into action! Jon recalls:

“I raised the money to get a lawyer and went through the courts to get joint legal custody. While I’m going through the process I get this shocking letter from Collin. It was so upsetting, it made me even more determined to get him out.”

Jon explains Collin’s roommate at the Fairmount Behavioral Health Institute was able to smuggle a letter out to him.

Per the outlet, the note, written in crayon, begs Jon to get custody and get him out of that place:

“Dear Dad, I’m not trying to trick you, but I still love you. I told Mom I want to live with you, she said no. But right? She can’t choose for me. I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son, not hers. She was abusive to me after I left your house. I’m sorry. Take this to court…

You’re my dad, my savior. Please help me and let me meet Colleen. I’m counting on you to get me out of here. Daddy, I love you. save me. Please come FAST. I love you. Help me. BYE.”

Jon’s manager at the time arranged for the roommate to give a legal affidavit describing what he’d witnessed Collin going through.

That eventually worked — though the process took a grueling 18 months. Jon says Collin suffered PTSD from his experience in the institution but that he’s doing better now:

“I brought Collin home. He’s a great kid. I want the family unit together, I even want to co-parent.”

Jon says he caught an interview with Kate in which she talks co-parenting with him, which he says is yet another lie for the cameras:

“It’s so far from co-parenting. We don’t even talk to each other. So why are you even bringing that up? You know, there’s stuff that she said in the media that’s so far from the truth. It’s not even funny. It is the complete opposite of truth.”

So how did his custody of Hannah come about?

Jon says one day the teen had just “had enough” of the mental abuse Kate put her through as “the leader of the pack”:

“Kate targeted her. I mean who puts all that pressure on to someone that’s 12 years old, it’s a lot.”

So how is Jon as a parent?

He says he’s working on it, but at the end of the day:

“I want to be genuine. I want a good upbringing for my children. I want them to be children and not on television anymore and I want them to live good, healthy, normal lives.

Jon says kids shouldn’t be “providing an income” for their parents by being forced to go on TV.

“I provide an income for my children. I go to work every single day. They need to enjoy their lives. Go to school and then go to college.”

He concludes:

“I love my kids. That’s it. That’s all I wanted.”

Honestly, that seems like enough to us.

What do YOU think of Jon’s claims about Kate??
