Joshua Jackson is reeling after his “beautiful” childhood home was destroyed in the LA fires.
The Dawson’s Creek alum has unfortunately joined hundreds of thousands of Californians displaced amid the devastating fires. According to his rep Dominique Appel via multiple outlets, the 46-year-old’s Topanga Canyon home sadly perished in the Palisades fire. In a statement, he explained:
“First and most importantly, all the people closest to me affected by the fire are ok. My daughter, my family, my neighbors all made it out safely. Sadly my beautiful home did not survive the fires.”

This hits even harder for Joshua because it wasn’t just any home… It was the very same home he grew up in. He purchased his childhood abode in 2001 and has lived there since, raising his own daughter 4-year-old Juno Rose Diana there, whom he shares with estranged wife Jodie Turner-Smith. So, so sad. However, he feels “incredibly lucky” that he and all his loved ones are safe:
“But today, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the people I love.”
Poor Joshua. We’re glad he and his family are okay. That’s what matters most.
Our hearts remain with those affected by the LA fires.
