Joss Whedon — mastermind of television and film — has revealed that two popular Marvel characters, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, WILL be featured in the Avengers sequel!
The superhero brother-sister duo originally appeared in the 1960s X Men comics, and have been prominent figures in Avengers storylines over the years.
Joss said of the duo:
“You know, they had a rough beginning. They├óΓé¼Γäóre interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót necessarily agree with The Avengers. So they├óΓé¼Γäóre not there to make things easier. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier.”
Well this is welcome news after hearing that Hawkeye might get recast OR even left out of the sequel!
Ooooo, ok, so NOW the question is WHO should play this sibling team?!
