Donald Trump may be at his most offensive when he’s disrespecting soldiers or bragging about sexual assault, but the true legacy of his presidency may end up being his diminishment of the rights of women and immigrants.
But why choose between them when you can do both?

This case of Jane Doe is quickly becoming a rallying cry against 45 and his disgusting Department Of Justice.
Jane is a 17-year-old immigrant who entered the country as an undocumented minor. She was about nine weeks pregnant when she was detained at the border on September 11. She has been seeking an abortion, but Trump’s lackeys and their anti-woman policies have blocked her at every step.
According to the ACLU, who have taken on Jane’s case, the Office of Refugee Resettlement‘s new director under Trump, E. Scott Lloyd, implemented a new policy keeping minors from getting access to abortions without his permission. The ORR has kept her from leaving the Texas shelter she’s housed in to make sure.
After a federal judge ordered the ORR to allow Jane to leave in order to have her procedure, Trump’s DOJ got an order giving the ORR a window of time to find her a sponsor instead.
The thing is, time is a crucial factor here. Texas law prevents abortions after 20 weeks; delays like this are just to keep Jane from getting an abortion while there’s still time.
