Justin Bieber is doing all he can to conquer his mental health.
A day after it came out that the Purpose singer has been receiving treatment for depression, more sources have come forward revealing just how focused he is on feeling better.
One source told E! News that the pop star has been “seeking all the help he can get,” dishing:

“He is in outpatient therapy and getting help every day. This is his focus right now.”

According to a People source, the counseling sessions have both spiritual and psychological elements from pastors and therapists — and while they’ve been painful, the 24-year-old is determined to face his demons.

The insider explained:

“His emotions are raw, but he knows that his counseling — however painful — is what he needs as he moves forward with his life.”

During this vulnerable time, Bieber has reportedly formed a strong support network made up of “the people that love him most,” according to the E! insider, including his wife Hailey Bieber and pastor.
Thankfully, the pop star is already discovering some key struggles from his past that have been weighing him down. The People source continued:

“He’s feeling very positive that he’s uncovering some root issues, and everyone is optimistic that this will help him figure out his next chapter.”

The performer alluded to some of these root issues in his joint Vogue interview with Hailey last week.
Recalling a therapy retreat he recently went on, Bieber revealed that he used the Hoffman Process, where he took his pent-up anger out on a pillow, on his resentment towards his parents, admitting:

“I beat the fact that my mom was depressed a lot of my life and my dad has anger issues. Stuff that they passed on that I’m kind of mad they gave me.”

Yup, even Biebs has mommy and daddy issues.
So, it’s not surprising that his own looming fatherhood is what prompted the star to make sure “he’s got his act together,” as the E! source explained, adding:

“He’s going to be a dad someday, and he knows that could happen sooner rather than later.”

Happy Bieber, happy life.
We’re so proud of Biebs for giving his mental health a tune up!
