UPDATE, Sunday, September 22, 7:14 p.m. ET — Boy, did this ever turn out to be the event of the year in that part of Wyoming, or what?!
With lines going up and down the street before things ever kicked off, Yeezy saw a HUGE turnout for his Sunday Service this weekend up in Cody. New neighbors or not, it’s clear a lot of people were very interested in showing up and taking part!
As you can see (below), it was chaos at points:

Kim and Kanye take Wyoming!
So it goes for Kanye West this weekend, at least, where he’s apparently gearing up for a MAJOR Sunday service in the small town of Cody, Wyoming — you know, where the 42-year-old rapper recently bought that multi-million dollar ranch he’s planning to use as a second home!

According to TMZ, which has the pics HERE, Yeezy’s Sunday service in Cody appears to be some kind of mega-church olive branch set out to the entire town… and everybody is invited! The service is apparently set to go down tomorrow at the Powwow Garden of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in the small Wyoming town, and the tents and catering companies already set up preparing the event are pretty significant!
Per the Facebook page of the venue itself, the Chicago-born rapper is bringing out his “80-person choral group” for the performance tomorrow, too, so… yeah. This is going to be a BIG ONE!
BTW, the event is completely free for the public to attend — the venue is attending a significant turnout — so if that’s you and you’re down to see Kanye’s Sunday service in action (and, you know, you live near Cody, Wyoming) tomorrow might be your best chance!!! The event space has room for just about 1,000 people, FYI, though it’s unclear who will actually be there tomorrow. Guess we’ll see soon enough!
Wyoming Is For Real
The bigger story here, of course, is how Yeezy and the fam — including wife Kim Kardashian West, as well as the couple’s four children — continues to clearly be committed to spending serious time in Wyoming out on the new ranch. Sure, both famous parents teased the move recently — including Kim on late night television along with a few important clarifications — but it’s nevertheless surprising to see them collectively move so quickly towards their goal.
The couple still has plenty to learn as far as Wyoming is concerned, however, including rules about not chasing down wildlife out on the ranch. But we have no doubt they’ll get there in time. And North West and her siblings are sure to have a lot of fun during their summers growing up out in the fresh air of the Rocky Mountains! Just saying!!
