The world may never know what Kim Kardashian and Karl Lagerfeld talked about during Kimmy’s visit to Unkle Karl’s atelier back in May, but he’s definitely a source of inspiration!
For their first ever Kardashian Kollection fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Sydney, Australia, which will have “an international theme,” the K fam has erected a huge Eiffel Tower to stand in the middle of the runway.
Kim posted the pic (below, left) and wrote on her blog:
“Our international theme is going to look so chic with the models wearing our Kardashian Kollection down the runway. We are testing different lighting under the sculptures and buildings we are making! What do u think of this huge all white Eiffel Tower we had made?”
You may have noticed Karl is also a fan of massive erections (zing!) on the runway. Take, for example, his setup for the Chanel A/W 2013 collection, which featured a giant globe (below right) in the middle of the runway for the models to traipse around.
In the past, the creative director has also had a gigantic gold lion, oversized marine sculptures, a carousel, an enormous replica of the classic Chanel tweed jacket, Chanel No.5 perfume flacons, and tall phallic pipes at his shows.

Innerestingly enough, Karl has never had an Eiffel Tower replica at his presentations so the Kardashians certainly beat him to that one!
We doubt Karl will mind, though.
