On Friday the FIT Couture Council held a luncheon honoring Karl Lagerfeld, but the fat hating designer refused to dine on the stuffed chicken and quinoa salad served to the other 600 guests.
So what did he do?
Ordered takeout from the popular sushi restaurant Nobu!
A source says: “Chanel reps called Nobu saying Karl needed a healthy meal of grilled fish, sushi and vegetables delivered to Lincoln Center.”
Friday also happened to be Karl’s birthday, but guests were told not to mention it because he “doesn’t acknowledge birthdays, or his age.”
Diva!
