On dating her director hustband, Michael Polish:
“There are so many people that hook up on movies, and you wonder if that’s real, so we didn’t go there. I think we were both experienced to know that if this was the real deal, we could wait to see what would happen.”
On realizing he was the one:
“It hit me, at about a million miles an hour├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I almost fell off my chair. They always say, ‘You know when you know,’ and I had found that quite frustrating my whole life. I thought, yeah, but how do you really know? But it’s true├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥he walked in and it hit me, like nothing I’d ever felt before. Meeting Michael honestly felt like coming home. It feels comfortable and secure and also exciting. I’ve never dated a hundred different guys. I’ve always had that desire to find my match in this life. If you had said to me at 25 that in just a couple of years I was going to be a stepmother, I never would have guessed. But because he was the right match for me├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and so was Jasper├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it felt totally effortless.”
On having kids:
“I think we’re a few years away yet. We have a few more film babies we want to create first.”
