Kelly Clarkson Is Mad For Plaid & In The Mood For Christmas In NYC

Kelly Clarkson is already in a Christmas-y mood! Girl, it’s not even Halloween yet!

The American Idol alum was supremely festive during a visit to SiriusXM Studios in NYC on Tuesday to promote her upcoming holiday album, which certainly explains the ensem, but does it excuse it?

We actually really love Kelly’s plaid McQ Alexander McQueen A-line dress with zipper accents. It’s totes pretty, but she should’ve stopped there.

Her red lips, red mani, red studded Valentino sandals, AND red cardigan sucked the chicness right out of the dress and made the singer look like a Christmas package!

Then again, her album is called Wrapped In Red, so maybe in her hazel eyes she nailed it?
